About Lance

Lance Rohde is a Las Vegas-based drummer and recording artist who has been performing professionally for over a decade, featured on dozens of recordings, shows, and tours. Originally from Los Angeles, he grew up in a city with a rich musical heritage known for producing great drummers.

Lance's unique pocket & style is a mix of Soul-R&B, Gospel, Jazz, Hip Hop, Reggae, and Rock. His style incorporates expressive use of the kit, playing with a deep groove and from the heart. He understands what the artist needs from the song and knows how to stay out of the way of a singer, always playing tastefully and for the feel of the song.

Lance has spent most of the past 20 years driving up and down the coast of California, to Texas, and finally to Las Vegas, playing casinos, dive bars, flatbed trailers in fields, and everything in between. He has played drums and guitar for blues, funk, and jazz acts, opening for some heroes, toasting with friends new and old, and gaining valuable experience which has shaped him into the musician he is today.

Since 2017, Lance has moved to Vegas and has had the opportunity to share the stage with Rick Berthod (award-winning guitarist), Guitar Shorty, Les Dudek, Carolyn Wonderland, Coco Montoya, Israel Joseph III, Commander Cody, and many others at venues such as Railhead at Boulder Station, House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, and the Extra Lounge at Planet Hollywood.

Whether Lance is supporting the act he's playing with in a smoky dive bar or on a larger stage, one thing is clear: he cares deeply about the song and puts his heart and soul into his craft, giving 110% every time.
