Lance Rohde is a Los Vegas-based drummer & recording artist performing professionally for over a decade and featured on dozens of recordings, shows, and tours. Originally from Los Angeles, he grew up in a city with a rich musical heritage and known for producing great drummers
Lance's unique pocket is a mix of Soul-R&B, Gospel, Jazz, Hip Hop, Reggae, and even Rock. His style incorporates expressive use of the kit, playing with a deep groove and playing from the heart. He knows how to learn what the artist needs from the song and how to stay out the way of a singer, always playing tasteful and for the feel of the song.
Lance has spent most of the past 20 years driving around California, to Texas, and finally to Las Vegas playing Casinos, dive bars, flatbed trailers in fields and everything in between, playing drums and guitar for blues, funk, and jazz acts, opening for some heroes, toasting with friends new and old and gaining valuable experience which would shape him to be the musician who he was to become.
Since 2017, Lance has moved to Vegas and have had the opportunity to share the stage with Rick Berthod, Guitar Shorty, Les Dudek, Carolyn Wonderland, Coco Montoya, Israel Joseph III, Commander Cody, and many others at venues such as Railhead at Boulder Station, House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, and the Extra Lounge at Planet Hollywood.
Whether Lance is supporting the act he's playing with in a smokey dive bar or on a larger stage, you’ll notice one thing: he cares a lot about the song and puts his heart and soul into his craft, giving 110% each and every time.
